The FDI SmartCoder allows easy connection of existing analog or specialty cameras into the FDI System. |
Each SmartCoder accepts a single channel analog input (S-Video or composite), plus stereo audio.
One serial in/out is provided for control of non-FDI pan/tilt mechanisms, and 4 GPIO are provided for general IO.
The SmartCoder produces an FDI compatible MPEG digital video stream output which can be viewed within the FDI System, and/or recorded and reviewed on StorageServer.
